Note: Mental Health Evaluations cannot, under any circumstances, be performed on patients seen for counseling. If you would like a mental health evaluation please do ask to be seen for counseling.
Seeking counseling can be a stressful or fearful experience for some people. Knowing this we try and make your experience comfortable. Ms. Taylor-Austin, NCC, LPC, LMHC, CFMHE, LLC has a down-to-Earth approach and explains things in an understandable manner. She utilizes an eclectic approach and sees patients with anxiety, depression, panic, relationship, BiPolar, behavioral and grief issues.
COUNSELING & PSYCHOTHERAPY
Individual counseling is provided for patients ages 6 years old and up (please do not contact us for children younger than 6 as they will not be seen). Counseling sessions are 45 minutes in length and are available by appointment only. Families and couples are not seen for counseling. We do not provide counseling for sexual offenders. An intake appointment will be arranged for you. At this intake appointment please bring your insurance card and copay, or payment in full for your appointment if you are not using insurance. All payments are due at the time of the appointment. At the intake session you will receive information about Ms. Taylor-Austin, NCC, LPC, LMHC, CFMHE, LLC and a disclosure of information regarding confidentiality and the limits of such. You will be asked to sign paperwork. Once intake is completed you will be informed of your option to continue in counseling with Ms. Taylor-Austin or you will be referred to an appropriate counselor specializing in your need. All people seen for intake appointments are not accepted as patients.
